With buses going anticlockwise our helpful B&B lady advised us to go the same way so we did not have to worry about passing on some of the narrower parts of the road. We had heard about narrow roads but had been on worse already...More

Lots of driving, either on your own or on a bus tour. Beautiful scenery and well worth the trip. We chose this area instead of the Dingle Pennisula just to the north.

We book a day tour to Kerry region with Paddywagon tours. It’s a long day tour but well organised and fun. Ensure that you are at the pickup point mentioned on your voucher in time. The time management was very good. It's important to understand...More

From Killarney the round trip is about 180km. Coaches are only permitted to travel anticlockwise because the roads are narrow in some places. In addition to the wild Atlantic coastline you see some interesting towns such as Cahersiveen , Waterville and Derrynane House where Daniel...More

Some of the best coast views are from the Skellig loop which does not allow bus traffic. I know driving these narrow roads is not for everyone but the scenery from the Skellig loop is worth the effort. Hope for good weather. It makes a...More

One of the best experiences of my life. I definitely recommend renting a car and driving it if you're comfortable, because it makes it that much more enjoyable. Beautiful views, nice towns, and plenty of places to stop and take photos.

No I don't really think you could do both in one day. Just concentrate on one. The road is quite narrow and at some times of the year it could be quite busy and slow with cars and coaches.
