I thought this was a very lovely spot to stop on our journey for the beautiful scenery and to have tea by the water. The history is interesting but for me, the view was amazing

We stopped to take a photo at Meeting of the Waters during our 4 mile hike around Muckross Lake. It was a beautiful view!

A delightful spot where the three lakes converse and where there is the old bridge. Is a walk of about 30 minutes from the nearest car park but well worth it in fine weather.

I would recommend to take a drive around the Mountains and rent a boat to sail around the three Lakes -Lough Leane, Muckross Lake (also called Middle Lake) and Upper Lake. They are so calm and offer the spectacular views around the lakes.

We passed the meetings and under the bridge on the Gap of Dunloe tour. It is a beautiful place with some great views and history. Not a must see place but if you have the extra time it will add to your experience.
