Every golfer who loves the game dreams of playing in Ireland. Dreams of the big names: Lahinch, Ballybunion, Killarney, Tralee. Those in the know who visit Kerry will add Dooks, Waterville. Those really in the know will add Beaufort. A heavenly 18th century parkland estate outside Killorglon at the foot or the Magillicuddy Reeks, Ireland's tallest mountains. Outstanding, marvelous, wonderful.... More

Played a relaxed 18 holes on this very pleasant 18 hole course approx 6700 yds. Nice open course with decent challenges but all in very good condition when we played. The bar had really pleasant lunch food available and everything is at decent prices. We got a discount as we were staying in the Europe. Would strongly recommend with great... More

I was told Beaufort golf club did great food at reasonable prices so I went there on a Saturday with my son. It's a lovely setting, plenty of room for the kids to play outside, outdoor seating. The menu was varied with most main courses around E 10, I had a home made burger salad real potato chips mmm! There... More

We had a wonderful time at Beaufort, the course is pristinely appointed and beautiful. The staff there were so helpful and exceedingly friendly. A must play if you're in the area! The remnants of a 15th century castle are right on the course, this makes for a breathtaking par 3!

The one thing that my husband and I wanted to do while in Ireland was to go golfing. Killarney area has quite a few choices for courses and we choose to spend a few hours at Beaufort. The day ended up being pretty wet with previous days of rain so we were only able to play a select 9 holes... More

We were attracted to the Golf Club from good reviews and finding out that by playing in a weekly competition the green fee/competition entry was very reasonable. When booking tee times by 'phone office staff were very helpful and friendly and this attitude continued during our visit. Whilst not the most demanding of courses it had it's challenges and the... Have played this course on several occasions. The surrounding scenery, the mountains topped with clouds and the autumn sunshine make it a very special place. It's not a very difficult course but has a number of long holes especially on the back 9. It's well worth travelling out of nearby Killarney to play this spectacular course

What a pleasant surprise! We booked a round as part of our Celtic Way golf pass, never thinking we'd enjoy it as much as we did the iconic venues of Ballybunion, Waterville and Lahinch. The course was in great shape, the greens were impeccable, and the scenery was fabulous. Play this course if you get a chance!
