The castle is beautiful and on lovely grounds. Very interesting to read everything as you go through each room and the people are helpful too. A must do in Kilkenny

The Castle is beautifully restored with further restoration on the way. Magnificent rooms and a fantastic Banqueting Hall to spend time admiring the family paintings. Don't miss the lovely tea room in the restored kitchen" below stairs"

I took the Bus Éireann from Cork and enjoyed the city for the day. It was easy to navigate and we were able to leave our packs at the train station nearby. We went to the castle, and the Smithwicks Brewery Experience. We... More
