The house is a ruin having been burned to the ground in the 1920.s. The Gardens are very atmospheric and have a lovely olde worlde feel. There is a lovely playground for the children and plenty of open spaces to exercise your dog.

Our first trip to Woodstock and we loved it. The place needs more attention but it is a great amenity to have and you could easy spend a few hours there strolling through the woods. A nice place for children too with a good playground.

Our party of four middle aged tourists were very impressed by the many different and wonderfully majestic old trees. However we were very disappointed by the poor maintenance of the flowers in the "walled garden". They were all in a parlous state of neglect. It's...More

Very relaxing. Good value at €4 per car payable on exit - coins only. Nice tea rooms. Helpful staff who gave me a map without me having to ask.

Extensive gardens with many paths and different areas to explore. Atmospheric as some parts have an abandoned feel and it was not busy at all when we visited late one afternoon - lovely for an hour or two's walk.

A short drive up a hill above the lovely village of Inistighe. There is no cost to enter the gardens, but there is a 4 euro fee for use of the car park. I'd you are feeling cheap, park in the village and walk the...More

If you find yourself in Inistioge, then take the small detour and visit Woodstock Gardens. Although the house was destroyed in 1922, the gardens bear testimony to the interests and ambitions of the nineteenth century. There are magnificent tree-lined walks combined with the formal plantings...More
