The UL Campus has something for everyone. Wonderful Architecture of buildings from the original White House to the ultra modern, sports facilities that are second to none and fantastic walking trails along the banks of the mighty Shannon River. The University Concert Hall has a diverse programme of events to cater for all ages and tastes, Music, Dance and Comedy.

The university of Limerick is a relatively new University which was much needed in this part of Ireland. The campus is out of town and straddles the Shannon river. Many of the buildings are quite remarkable in design.Added to that is the longest walkway over the river in Europe which wobbles when you walk. Give it a go!

A Beautiful Campus. Architecture overlooking the Shannon River, meandering trails, scenic views, traditional Irish Song and Dance at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance.

I went to the University of Limerick to visit a friend on Erasmus, after having handed my dissertation. My weekend has been simply amazing. The campus is a green oasis into which it is impossible to be stressed. My friend lived in Cappavilla, so we had to cross a bridge to go to the Stables where, on Friday night, the... More

UL is not just for the students, it has a Concert Hall, Playing Pitches and Courts, Swimming Pools and Kilometres of walking/running/cycling trails set in beautiful wooded grounds. We love to walk through the tree lined avenues and across the river Shannon on the Living Bridge, a stop in the Pavilion for a coffee then on to the road bridge... More

On a number of occasions I have visited the Sports Arena and dropping off children or picking them up is a major hassle. There is no safe place to park a bus. The car park is not suitable either. I would have thaught that Health and Safety would be a major priority here. I asked in reception for a suitable... More
