I spent a week on the campus of the University as part of a world music conference. This campus is among the most beautiful and well designed architecturally I have encountered. Traditional buildings, contemporary designs, and nature itself combine to make this a unique venue...More

My daughter and I are regular visitors to the campus at U.L on the banks of the beautiful river Shannon. We will walk through the magnificent manicured grounds admiring the many works of art and sculptures on show. There always seems to be something happening...More

After some wonderful Congolese Music and then a Piano Concert by Mihail O' Sullivain, we had a wonderful lunch in a most beautiful Dining Room.

Came from a USA university. Found this to be as beautiful as any American campus that is not filthy rich with endowment. Staff at the place were wonderful to us, albeit occasionally puzzled about how America could have elected a vile fool as its President

Stayed on campus and had time to walk all around campus, including the trails along the river. Campus is beautiful and easy to navigate. The river trails were very pretty, and there are small ruins along the path.

Drove through the campas, very modern and functional. Easy to get around. Walked from the carpark, through the grounds, and along the river path. Sunny day which made it very enjoyable.

Attended UL for a graduation recently, it is a stunning campus! Very modern but still classic. Students are lucky to have these wonderful facilities.

Galway would be best, as the city itself if really popular with tourists and there's a great vibe there. The countryside is beautuful there. Also has lots of tourist attractions near by like connemara, the aran islands etc.
