Perfect for a getaway. Fabulous views and a great place to go surfing, kayaking or just walking around the coast. Head to McGowan's for a pint, you won't be disappointed. There's a few little shops in the village including Rosie's pottery shop and Brown Penny where you can get some gorgeous bits for presents or for yourself. Worth a visit.

Stayed in a motorhome at Easkey Holiday Park. Nice site, hard standing, well maintained toilet block. Village quiet with 2 pubs which only open in evening. Found and used Kavanagh's butcher on the Main Street, his meat especially his lamb and sirloin exceptional. Nice riverside walk to shoreline and old castle. Will return again.

My paternal ancestors came from here so I may be prejudiced, but I find this one of the most friendly villages in Ireland. The residents have formed a town improvement committee called LEAP (Livin' in Easkey and Proud) that has really spruced it up and has provided bulletin board explanations of local sights, flora and fauna, etc. Easkey is a... Easkey is a beautiful small village, on the Atlantic Coast, in west County Sligo. It's well worth a visit. You'll get the best pint of Guinness going in McGowan's pub, pick up some amazing pottery in Rosie's Pottery Studio and explore the history of the Old Abbey and graveyard (wonderful information signs for the passer by or historian). Pudding Row... More

Old square castle with significant history. Definitely not camper van friendly area with barriers and notices re parking. There is supposed to be camper van site here but we didn't see it.

Easkey is a dying village. If not for the world wide surfing crowd that comes to Easkey it would die.Not much here, not worth the visit unless you head to the water-line to watch surfers.

We stayed in the Swallows nest in Easky, Co. Sligo... though the village is quaint and quiet, the house we rented was everything we come have wished for. The owners are the most amazing people, as are their whole family... There are some absolutely breath-taking walks down by the river... The house is right across from the River Easky.. This... More

Not too much to do in the town but it is a great place to stop and walk around. The views are amazing.

If carlsberg done tranquil seaside destinations, then Easkey would have to be the best in the world. I spent every summer here growing up on our holidays and the place is just beautiful... If travelling along on the 'Wild Atlantic Way' make sure and stop off here. It's the best place in the WEST
