Michael Quirke is an Irish treasure! His beautiful carvings and amazing knowledge of Irish mythology are unsurpassed. If you find yourself in Sligotown you have to make time to visit his shop. One of the highlights of our amazing trip to Ireland!

It would be a shame to visit Sligo and miss some experiences...standing on a bridge watching the Garavogue slip by, taking a pint at Hargadon's, or watching Michael carving his own twist on local folklore into local woods in the old local butcher's shop.
