Nice way to spend a few minutes. The stairs are steep, so not user friendly for those who have health issues with climbing. The story is interesting, even for those who stay on the ground floor

The tower is very interesting and definitely worth a look and the area is a nice place to walk around. It is a shame that people are using the Viking boat as a garbage can though.

What a great place to visit. Spent the day here and my wife and I found it fascinating. Loved all the history and the the staff in Reginalds Tower, the Medieval museum and Bishops Palace couldn't have been more helpful. Three great attractions all worth a visit. To top it off there are plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars here... More

Waterford: Ireland's oldest city and 'most loyal'. Full of interesting places to visit andinteresting characters. Worth going for the Viking Triangle alone. Easily reached by train, bus and car - it now boasts a 70km walk/cycleway from Dungarvan to the city that is both stunning - AND gentle. Two great festivals Sumerval and the older Winterval makes it a great... More

One of the great things about Waterford is that the town is very proud of their history and has put a lot of effort into making information available for tourists. Lots of blue plaques and information around the city to find out the history without having to pay.

The Medieval Archery near the General Post Office was entertaining and enlightening. A real hands-on medieval archery lesson on longbows with real arrows and some superb coaching, followed by great storytelling.
