Went for a walk with my family including a toddler. Lovely beach for walks with or without dogs. Irish weather but got a bit of sun as well and the view was brilliant. Great spot for families.

Years ago this was classed as a hidden gem beach, so was maya bay and look how that turned out. Getting more touristy and packed over the recent years. Great spot and beach. Nice to go on quiet days and worth the drive from Dublin...More

The town has good food and entertainment along the prom. Normally eat on the Porter House which has a good selection of beers.

I have been to this beach many times for work and I can never get tired of the scenery! Even on a misty or cloudy day, it is still beautiful and a great beach for horseback Riding ;)

Brittas Bay was where summers were spent-when the sun always shined .... the beach used to be a much sandier stretch, however over the years it has become stonier. It still can't be beaten on a summers day or for a bracing winter walk. Only...More

One can become spoiled in Ireland, given the large number of beautiful walks one can take along sea, manors or hills. Brittas Bay is on the Irish Sea, and offers a vista toward the East, that is an easy trek, along a flat beach, if...More

There is a proper parking space with great facilities part there rather than the road, its safer.

The car park is right by the beach and there are duck boards to the beach from the car park. The dunes are a little steep and it's quite sandy so you may need some help if you want to take an extended walk. Have a nice trip.
