Although this park has a golf course it also has a lovely lake and plenty of woodland that is perfect for exploring with the kids. There was an abundance of wildlife to be seen and even the fish were swimming close to the lake surface...More

The Grounds of the park are varied with open greens (obviously - for the golfers), lots of woodland, flat areas, very hillty parts, a lake, streams - it's lovely. unfortunately most of it is taken up by golf, but there's plenty left for everyone else!...More

Lovely park to take dogs , plenty of open spaces and partial paths through woods. It was very muddy so wellies at this time of year a must. Nature trail and ducks on the lake
