So every Christmas me and my daughter go to see a panto at this theatre. Last year we sat in normal seating (I paid for seats without restrictions) they were restricted due to the seats not being tiered. I asked for a booster seat for my child and they said they have ran out! I couldn't see anything and because... More

I've know the Hazlitt Theatre as both performer, Director and audience over the last 40 years. Facilities have been added to over the years but thankfully the intimate performance space with a traditional proscenium arch has remained unchanged. Seating in the region of 350 souls, your never further than forty feet from the stage, with excellent sight lines from all... More

Had such a brilliant night. We had seats in block behind the front stall and had loads of leg room because we had seats in the front row and there is no barrier. I do feel that their prices could be a bit lower at the bar as it was pricy, I took my own bottle of water with me.... More

First time seeing a pantomine at Hazlitt theatre. We booked late but managed to get seats near the front. The pantomine was Sleeping beauty. The show was good and entertaining. I do prefer a pantomine with more famous faces. The seating was as you expect, not the most comfortable and can be cramp if you have long legs. The bar... More

Our first visit to The Hazlett, we watched Cirque Enchanted. Our seats in the balcony gave us a good view of the stage. The seating is showing its age as the whole row wobbled when ever anyone moved. The bar is OK but £7 for a glass of plonk is a bit steep. Would return if there is something we... More

Went to the 11am show with my hubby (we are big kids at heart). Great show the cast were amazing. Typical panto with lots of laugh and audiance participation. Looking forward to next years panto. Only complaint it was very cold inside the theatre. Not sure if that was due to us sitting in the middle of the front row... More

A great family pantomime. I loved the chorus of little children, they put their heart and soul into the singing and dancing. The only negative would be the costumes, the fairy looked very shabby.

Excellent show on Boxing Day afternoon. Well done to Jasmin who had to step in at the last minute to play Sleeping Beauty. All the cast were enthusiastic and seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as the audience were. Roll on Cinderella next year.
