Party of 17 visited on 15 Jan 2017 following a recommendation. We were not disappointed. Beautiful and authentic surroundings with wonderful staff and a friendly and attentive host (Marie) who provided a personal touch remembering all our names. Meal was very flavoursome, would recommend the Caribbean Platter. Already planning our next visit so we can really appreciate the relaxing and... More

Took my grandchildren to Akamba ( by recommendation ) and what a lovely place to visit with them. Many exotic plants etc. for me and lots of exotic animal models etc. for the children all hidden amongst the plans. Topped off with a lovely snack for me and some chips for the children. Most definately will return ! .

Not the usual garden centre. There are exotic plants and a craft centre selling African art. There is a restaurant which offers predominantly Caribbean cuisine. There are metal animal statues made out of recycled material. a;together an interesting experience.

This is a strange find near Solihull; there's a restaurant, it has gardens where they sell plants and metal garden ornaments, there's a sandpit play area for kids and dotted around are tables and chairs for sitting outside with a drink. There's a £1 per person "donation" for the sandpit play area so even as an adult going in with... More

I had jerk chicken I could have eaten more of it Cheese cake to follow was one of the best I had tasted. Staff were friendly and whole night was well organised. Limbo dancing was excellent and she also involved the spectators.... More

Called in here after looking for 'things to do in Solihull' -so glad we did. Beautiful African birds in the aviary, interesting creatures to hold in the reptile house & a fantastic tearoom -the like of which I've not seen since going to the Serengeti. One of the most entertaining places I've been to lately.
