Take a walk along the river to the Museum. It is in the old custom house. The installations are very good. The film tells an amazing story of ship building in Lancaster.

Had a lovely hour here in May. The museum is small but full of interesting items and history. Really good for kids. The staff are very knowledgeable. There is a little snack bar. You can also park around the back for free.
