Went to see a show midweek, milliondollar quartet at the Palace on Oxford Rd, what a fab night! If you like rock & roll you have gotta see this show, you'll be dancing in the aisles!! Polite & professional staff too. Handy for buses, trams & taxis, also loads of eateries & late bars for those who want to make... More

Fabulous brilliant highly professionally produced. 4 amazingly talented young men portraying a jam session with Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins narrated by Jason Donovan playing the man who set them all on the road to stardom. A show not to be missed. The only shows I have ever seen to come near are Buddy that I... More

Started off with dinner at the Palace Bistro...well worth it for both the food and the convenience, with a direct admission to the theatre from the Bistro avoiding long lines. I saw the current version of Lord of the Dance and the production was well staged and the seating and sight-lines, even from fairly far back, were very good. A... More

Well, plus points: - Easy ticket booking - Collection speedy but no real queue - Staff helpful and smiley - Enjoyed the show Not so good: - In the blurb it did say when up in the grand tier, leg room would be limited and that is an understatement! You need to be a maximum of 3 foot tall otherwise... More

We went to watch the final show of wonderland and it was fantastic, we paid for the red package and it was well worth the extra money. The staff in the ambassador lounge couldn't do enough for us, was so relaxing.

Reviewing a theatre visit is a bit tricky, there are two elements. The show, and the location. Three generations visited the Palace Theatre (Manchester) to see Wonderland. All enjoyed the show. An excellent story, and great performances with a couple of stand out characters, all backed by great singing. I would heartily recommend seeing Wonderland when it is on tour.... More

My mum and I recently visited to watched Lord of The Dance, which was an amazing must see show. On entering, staff were very friendly & helpful, even when searching bags. We bought some over priced (but expected) souvenirs. We then made our way upstairs to the toilets which were soooo busy and cramped. The area outside the Circle Area... More

The Palace theatre is a beautiful venue. The leg room in the seating in the balcony area however is appalling. For a tall person your legs have to be virtually pulled up to your chin. Far worse than any aircraft. You could ask people in front of you if you could put your legs over their shoulders but I don't think... More

I visited the Palace Theatre for the first time 18th April for Half way to Paradise. There was a long queue outside due to members of staff looking in your bags with a torch! A guy looked in my bag which had a half bottle of warm water which I top up and carry everywhere. He told me i couldnt have the... More

The prices of beveridges are extortionate. £3.20 for a J2O. £3.50 for a small tub of ice cream. No wonder people try to smuggle in there own drinks etc
