Nice pint of lager £2.20 a pint and a great sun trap if you visit in the summer and sit outside. I visit weekly when I go shopping in Manchester.

Cheap pint, good crowd! That's all you need. A great spot in winter and summer and has a good history to the place. Its always a winner.

this is such a lovely area , the buildings are fabulous , and it seems to always bring nostalgic memories of years gone by , it has never changed much , still has a buzzing feel to it and is a wonderful meeting place , with lots to do .

Started our Christmas market day out in this area. Lovely picturesque buildings and a mix of old and modern that works well. A selection of decent pubs and bars too.

This is a lovely part of Manchester. Once the site bombed in the 90s by the IRA, now a brilliant spot to get a drink, sit outside and just watch the world pass by. When the sun shines, it just could not be better.

A couple of good pubs in this area, it is next to the Cathedral. Great to visit, blending historical buildings with new structures close buy. Pubs friendly but busy.
