Small, unattractive, even tasteless and dirty. Walked through a couple of streets and didn't regret to leave it behind as fast as I could.

The archway is the best bit. It was easy to not realise you were actually in Chinatown. We picked the restaurant with the longest queue as that seemed to be the best recommendation- Happy Seasons. Food was good and worth the wait.

Not great overall. Mix of good and average to really poor eateries and pubs in the area. Some better quality Chinese restaurants on Princess St.

Chinatown is very compact with a great ornate arch. My reason for going is the chinese bakery for great custard pies at Mr Ho;s.

Lovely food and entertainment, lots of singing and karaoke! Good for oriental shopping too. The all you can eats are great quality for the price too.

The craft shop does have a small selection of traditional Chinese dresses - it's situated directly opposite the pagoda and gardens.
