Come and explore our 1879 Police Station! Inside we have Uniform, Crime and Transport displays as well as the station itself in which you can see the original Charge Office, Cells and an 1895 Magistrates Courtroom from Denton. Our volunteers, many of whom are retired officers will be on hand to chat to and answer any of your questions about life on the beat. The museum is open to the public on Tuesdays, but tours by appointment can be made on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays. Free entry!

tucked away in a side street this is an impressive museum, it was an old police station from the victorian era, real cells, charge office, court room which is a great piece of social history. Open Tuesdays to the public.

Fantastic little gem of a place, just north of Piccadilly gardens. The exhibitions are fantastic and the archive is great for research. The cells and old office are particularly interesting.

I couldn’t think of a police museum, but it is so interesting: a piece of history melting with the city history. Retired policemen and policewomen were so kind to us. 😃

Went here in school hols with my mum and kids and we all really enjoyed it. So interesting, plus the police dog handler was there with his dog so that was an added bonus.
