The cathedral is overwhelming in height with beautiful gothic designs through out. It is surrounded by many shops and restaurants and classic old buildings. Tours are conducted daily but are limited in number due to the current construction in progress.

Really tall building with so many details. Worth to visit. And around it there are squares and streets with typical french cuisine and souvenirs.

We had stopped at the Cathedrale Notre Dame de Strasbourg while touring the city. The Monday we had visited it was very busy with many people outside the cathedral . There were also a good number of people outside begging for Money. Inside the cathedral,...More

Cathedral is free to visit, and very impressive, if you want to go to the top its 5 euro and a lot of stairs but lovely view.

Amazing Cathedral at the heart of Strasbourg. Loads of shopping and sightseeing around it as well. Currently undergoing some renovations so limited picture opps for some angles.

there is no way you visit Strasbourg and don't visit the Cathedral. Well in actual fact you simply cannot miss it as it's right in the centre

Look up! And don't mind the tourists. This church is breathtaking and beautiful. Not only it huge, but the ornamentation and relic is amazing. If you are near, don't miss out - religious or not. Beautiful both outside and inside.

Of course this is the number 1 attraction in Strasbourg. It is so impressive, so humbling, so beautiful inside and out that it left our small group breathless. The stain glass windows are among the most intricate, details and beautiful (there's that word again!) any...More

Most of what you will see is inside and a small part is outside with cover for rain and wind. I've not been in December, but my son was and said it's the perfect time to go.
