The European Parliment is world famous and my being a politically-oriented person, I like to have a picture of places I hear so much about in the news.

I have to say that I expected this visit to be boring but it was anything but! Our guide was both knowledgeable and enthusistic, particularly keen on pointing out the symbolism of the design. The building itself is awesome, especially the spiral staircase.

Quite different style of building compared with the rest of the lovely Alsace style building and houses here. It is huge and professional. Another famous attraction for Alsace beside the Marche de Noel :)

This is indeed a huge complex in modern style that catches your eyes from a distance. The circular shape manifests the importance of everybody being equal. There is a lot of natural light almost everywhere in the building.

We went around this building on the river cruise and the architure is impressive for its contemporary style and use of steel. Actually hard to photograph because of the scale of the building.

If you go to Strasbourg I would recommend to visit this place. You cannot go close (at least when I was there) but it has a nice architecture.

Whilst in Strasbourg we visited the Orange park and on our way back called into see if we could look in the European Parliament - loads of people were being let inside but we were told we were too late and could not enter. Perhaps...More

We can only comment on the exterior. We saw it on foot and by boat. It is an impressive structure just opposite it's former location on the other side of the canal. Each building style reflects it's time in the history of united Europe.

A modern building far from city centre. Need a reservation or an invitation to visit, I didn't and I could not enter it despite I am one of the tax payer financing the circus.... The structure looks like a big parking and it gave me...More

The security is there. You are checked and you are allowed to enter the inner court for a quick self-tour. Entering the building is only for delegations and MEPs.
