I happened to be in town during their summer sale (which lasts weeks) and there were discounts in every store. I needed a sweatshirt the first day so visited C&M (related to H&M across the way?). It is nice that it is a pedestrian area...More

A very long, straight, busy pedestrianised shopping street in the heart of Bordeaux. All the international shops are here - Zara, H&M, Mango,Galleries Lafayette etc. BUT - the best and most interesting shops are in the little side streets off the Rue St Catherine, and...More

How do all these shops expect people to spend hours shopping there???? The civilization of the place is measured by its taking care of this need. This street is just uncivilized. Period. Some mixture of cheap and expensive shops like everywhere else in the big...More

Holy shopping! Huge pedestrian street. Largest in France I think. There are innumerable shops. There are also other smaller pedestrian streets leading from this street that are lined with cafes and shops. Super busy and crowded but it's a must see and do in Bordeaux.

This is a great long stretch of shops! Great to wander through and visit different places. Worth checking out if you like shopping!

There were many stores here. We found one end of the street to be nicer than the other. It seemed that it became sketchier as we neared the end.

Stayed just off this street on St Remy, super variety of shops all within a very walkable distance- in fact most of Bordeaux is very walkable. Very busy from afternoon on, typical high street stirs and prices with some lovely local and artisan shops interspersed....More

I would normally rate a shopping strip but this one is pretty special, over 1 km long and its all shops. For the blokes, hide your wife's credit card, find a bar and send her on her way.

It's certainly a long street, I have to admit. All the shops you can ask for are represented, but to me this get's a bit boring, every shopping street has the same shops, you find the same items at home.
