Sweet place on a hot day for kids. Quite a good way to entertain children. A bit strange to see bikes and scooters as well

Pictures of the palace are much more interesting and beautiful than the real thing. Even on the sunny day that we visited.

The Water Mirror wasn't on so this just looked like a nice French square. My thought is that is the Mirror would make it very special. Nice views of the bridge. Hub for tourists and local youth. Good example of French architecture of the period.

I loved seeing this and found it quite amazing. However it is not always full of water, was rather disappointed when I went specially to take pictures and all the water was gone. There must be a reason for this and I would warn tourist about time or days .

Big square with historic buildings. Lots of cafes on the back streets for a little refreshment and people watching. Nice place to enjoy the waterfront. Overall easy access by tram.

At night there is a shallow pool reflecting Place Royale with clarity and beauty making fantastic photos. These buildings are still worthy of seeing during the day and easy to get to with trams going by very often. The entire area is good to walk around and enjoy the waterfront, the historic buildings opposite the waterfront and great back streets... More

This is just as lovely as it looks in the pictures. We were really disappointed that we were too early for the water to be switched on but it still looked beautiful in the sunshine. We liked it both in the daytime and lit up at night.
