Beautiful church

Wonderful, cleaned church in centre of Bergerac. Market held here Weds and Sats. Biggest fruits I have ever seen. Busy and interesting.

A classic mid gothic church, grand enough to be a cathedral if it had a bishop. Stately flying buttresses, soaring bell tower, melodious bell, and impressive stained glass. Worth a trip and a look.

A nice church in the centre of Bergerac and gather you thoughts, light a candle and remember people not with us any more.

Significant landmark for Bergerac and very easy to find. Unfortunately, the church was closed when we were there and so we cannot comment on the inside. From the outside, the church is well situated and is pleasant to view and a decent size for a town the size of Bergerac. Have a look at the church if you are passing... More

We came to visit this Church but when we arrived at 5pm it was closed, despite a note on the wall and door says opening hours 14.00 - 17.30 - so take care in summer season to get there early

Pleasant church centrally located and with organ recital while we visited. Strange to see wine being sold inside the church. Made me want to repeat the "clearing the temple" episode.

We spent just a few hours in Bergerac but were pleased when we ran across Eglise Notre-Dame. In truth, the church has an unremarkable interior. What we found most interesting is that the church is along one of the many pilgrimage routes of Saint Jacques.

Nice church in Bergerac. Interior quite sober compared with other churches in France. Quite dark inside and not so much to see

Well worth a walk around and look and read the history of the church and the area. If you go into the church about 4pm the organ player is practicing fantastic ( it was for me). In the evening the outside is floodlight and on Saturday morning, there is a very good market around the outside of the church (flowers,... More

A stunning and beautiful church, the architecture and amazing stain glass windows were only surpassed by the amazing bell tower. Did a tour of the town before we ended up there, lots to see and lots of artisan products and cafes and restaurants. And of course the town made famous by Cyrano de Bergerac hosts a couple of nice statues.... More
