In the Square by the cathedral stands a statue of Pope Urban II who was born in Lagery and was pope for 11 years at the end of the 11th century. He stands with one arm held high on top of the fountain monument.

This is yet another well maintained fountain and is right in front of the CFE Tourism office. Beauty of this fountain is that the water is consumable but do ensure that you collect the water directly from the top and not from the tub. No wonder, many restaurants don't charge for the water.

This statue and fountain is in the large square situated next to the cathedral. It commemorates a Pope from back in the day - 1088 to 1099 to be precise! The square is surrounded by cafes and bars plus the tourist office is located behind it, from where you get a good view of one side of the cathedral. The area is mainly pedestrianised.
