This is without any doubt one of the most fascinating Romanesque churches in all France if not in all Europe. The interior breathes calm and quiet, little if any decoration except for the beautifully crafted capitals which crown the pillars. Take time, reflect and breathe...More

This building like many other prominent buildings in Clermont are built using the volcanic stone and that brings a unique look and feel to the building. This Basilique is in the heart of the city and at a few minutes walk from the city center....More

Place was really in the middle of town easy to access. Possibility to climb up on towers and see whole clermond-Ferrand city there.

Quickly whizzed round. Lovely place to visit, quiet and pretty. Well laid out. Puzzles to do. Took some nice pictures and was not too busy.
