We were staying in Dijon on holiday from Australia. Our apartment window overlooked the Botanical Gardens, so we went in for a look. We visited during a school break so there were lots of little children who just kept getting excited. It is small, only two floors and can be done in under an hour. Worth a visit for anyone interested in history. Fabulous building too. Friendly receptionist will provide guide in English. Great time out from the heat

A small Natural History Museum, nothing like the ones in London or Paris but not pretending to compete with them neither. It can be visited in 1 or 2 hours, it has an interesting look on the wildlife of the region and how it evolved with time. Not enormous, just the right size to allow everyone time to stroll around and spend time on those things of particular interest! Over to the planetarium, thereafter, well laid out and plenty still left to pique interest.
