An impressive cathedral in beige limestone that dominates the historic center of Orleans. From the cathedral you can choose any of the narrow cobblestone streets to discover the beautifully restored medieval city center with lots of small squares with terraces to enjoy good food or drinks.

We had a private tour of the cathedral and our guide was as impressed as we were! The atmosphere is beautiful, the stained glass is simply stunning and the whole place is just amazing. We loved it.

Begun in the 13thC the original building was badly damaged by Huguenots in the 16thC. Restored in Gothic style between 17thC and 19thC. Very ornate façade and on entering the cathedral one is in awe... More
