Reims is an easy train ride from Paris. Buses bring you from the Reims station to the Veuve complex. Plan ahead- they only do so many tours per day, and you have to book in advance. We were told to wait for an opening in a tour by a very friendly woman at the front desk. 30min later, we were... More

I did the "Mme Clicquot" Tour and while I was really looking forward to this tour mainly due to the caves and the history behind the champagne house, but left with little new knowledge. The tour felt a bit rushed, but while I can understand the need to keep on time, is taking the 10 seconds to answer a question... More

Went to visit shop. did not do tour because they are timed & we just missed the English speaking tour... All the staff speak good English & were very helpful. made a few purchases at reasonable prices, although the Champagne could be bought at supermarkets cheaper. Well worth a visit.

Arrived a little late but the staff were friendly and welcoming and knew exactly where the guide was (in contrast to the chaos at Moet). They walked us to him and we had only missed less than 5 mins. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and able to answer any query we had. He seemed to have a genuine interest in... More

We did the In the Footsteps of Madame Cliquot tour, which was the perfect length - about an hour, including a tasting at the end. The tour guide was very informative and we spent most of the time down in the caves. We learned a lot! Make sure to reserve beforehand! The tasting was great, and we stayed for a... More

We did this tour & it was fantastic. The guide was very informative. It is an amazing place, with all the underground set up for storing the champagne. The history was also very interesting about the existence during the war years. Excellent tastings to finish off.

Great tour and so interesting how a woman brought this winery to great heights. She even developed techniques that shaped then industry. Lively tour guide who explained what happened here during WW2. You can taste at the end for an extra charge.

This was the second of our tours of the great Champagne houses and we were not disappointed! Whether you like Veuve Cliquot or not is immaterial on an informative tour of this quality. We were blessed with a great guide who really knew his stuff not only on the history of Champagne but of the extensive processes in its production.... More
