The kids' expectations were quite low, to be honest! But we ploughed on courageously nonetheless and had a really good afternoon. The zoo was a great hit (fab tigers! Cute primates! Brilliant baby boar!) and the views of the area really impressive. We didn't make...More

I went mainly to view the Musee de la Resistance et Deportation. This in an extensive museum with many rooms of exhibits, and many artefacts on display. Well worth the entrance fee to the Citadelle which also allows entrance to other attractions. The only other...More

The zoo was an unexpected surprise. Enjoyed that the most. The views were awesome from the fortress walls.

Interesting visit, whether for older or more modern (Resistance) history, or for the zoo. The Comtoise museum is well done, too. Just a short (but difficult) walk from the old city. Consider taking the bus if walking up a hill is difficult.
