We visited Cattelan exhibition and it was really interesting in such a setting... very nice building, very central. there is a very luxurious restaurant at the building.

Avoid, avoid, avoid and avoid….. My visit to Monnaie de Paris was purely by chance. I was looking for the nearest Metro station and saw the sign Monnaie de Paris offering an exhibition called ‘Floor-naments’. The exhibition cost 10 Euro – and I’m surprised that the lady on the till didn’t do a dastardly laugh and rub her hands as... More

Hello bill_a_graham, Monnaie de Paris presents several exhibitions per year. We are sorry that you haven’t been seduced and convinced by our exhibition Floor-nament. However, we invite you to come back to our next exhibition to discover all our cultural programmation. Have a great day, L'équipe de la Monnaie de Paris More

Around 10 modern art exibits for 12 euros is insane! We paid 8 euros each because of discount for students. We came because it is money museum and my boyfriend is interested in coins collecting. Money exibition was closed for renovation and there was no signs saying so. We paid money for what we did not expect and waited in... More

We visited the Musee de la Monnaie during October and saw the fantastic installation by Paul McCarthy. It was a sensory overload, especially with all the chocolate. The exhibition was extremely interesting and the impact it had during the art fair was brilliant.

During our recent visit to Paris, we were attracted to the Chocolate Factory after seeing posters around the city. We were not aware of the controversy surrounding Paul McCarthy and his installation at Place Vendome, so we paid our admissions thinking we would get a glimpse into the workings of a Parisian Chocolate Factory- maybe even samples! Naive, I know,... More

I was looking forward to getting to peek inside La Monnaie de Paris at the historic Salon Dupré, in the Palais Conti, which has only recently and partially reopened up to the public after several years of renovations to house contemporary art expositions. The ceiling mural and chandeliers in the main hall are lovely. La Monnaie de Paris was founded... More

We saw the advertisement for the Paul Mccarthy exhibition Chocolate Factory and became curious. But what we saw was a huge number of chocolate Santas and something that looked like cones. And video clips where you see a hand writing the same words on a piece of paper while you hear a voice that repeats the same words over and... More
