Can’t beat lying on the freshly mowed grass in this wonderful Park. Take your shoes off and simply relax. Taking in all the sights and sounds of Sunday morning. It’s a perfect oasis before shopping in Paris’s only Sunday trading area, the Marias.

Beautiful urban park as only the French can do. Peaceful, family oriented, wonderful views, fountain to refill your water bottle. Could spend hours here.

An absolutely very serene park in the Marais district of Paris! Even in the winter time, the bare trees add charm to this historic place. The red brick building surrounding the park is another great example of amazing architecture in Paris.

I love the place des Vosges at any season, but my favourite is on an overcast day in autumn with the wind whipping along the colonnades. Find a quiet corner and lean againt a pillar and you're back a couple of hundred years. On no...More

This is the oldest public square in Paris, and was originally called "Place Royale"-- and housed Royalty!! It measures 140 m/155 yards per side and also features a lovely, well maintained garden. Facing the square many important historical figures lived (eg. Victor Hugo, Cardinal Richelieu)....More

Beautiful and great urban park in a nice part of Paris. It was very lively on a warm spring day during our visit. And with perfect landscaping. Entire park is circled by very old and beautiful buildings. Worth a visit if near this part of...More

Worth studying this purpose built square - around the time of 'The Three Musketeers'. Ample places for refreshment.

We walked to Place des Vosges on a Sunday afternoon and spent a few hours walking the square and sitting in a cafe enjoying the day. A relaxing place to get away for a few hours from the hustle and bustle of Paris.

This is a park in the middle of homes that were once occupied by the wealthy and powerful. Today it is wonderful community park. It, however, does not have the charm or expansiveness of other parks so I would skip it unless I had lots...More

When in France you generally have the marriage ceremony at the local Mairie (town hall) then go to a park for pictures. I am sure it can be done, if you find the right person or priest. But it will take a lot of... More
