Interesting building and exhibitions. On the top nice view on Notre Dame and a simili- restaurant. Bad service. Avoid it.

Have a cup of tea or lunch at the rooftop cafe and enjoy spectacular views of Ile St. Louis and the Seine. There often are excellent special expos here in their great expo space. Spectacular modern architecture.
Beautiful building, well laid out exhibitions with lots of reading material and located not to far (10 min walk) from Notre Dame. I would recommend taking out some time to check this out
The exhibition about Arab-african art was good. Nice examples of a variety of styles from the Mahgreb to Zanzibar. The restaurant on the 9th floor has Parisien prices. €6 for tea? You must be joking! The view from the terrace is free and accessible without...More
We attended a concert by Manu Dibango at this venue. We were driven but it is well known and prominent. The ticket collection is efficient and we were directed to the auditorium in an orderly fashion. It was an unreserved seating event but all the...More
A very interesting exhibition that tells the history of muslims in Sub-saharan Africa. It was well presented with lots of artifacts. I did not get to see the permanent collection or visit the library but will definitely do this in the future.

The reason to go is for the view from the ninth floor terrace. Personally, I don't think the view is special enough to be worth the detour. For good Paris views, I recommend Sacre Coeur and/or the Arc de Triomphe.
