Unfortunately, I can't rave about Notre Dame. I thought I would have been more impressed. It was very crowded & dark. I was also turned off by the various little things for sale inside the church - it just felt wrong to me. Anyhow. The...More

I grew up in a Catholic family. My children grew up watching the Disney version of the Hunchback of Notre-Dame. Of course we were going to visit the cathedral. Thoroughly recommend coming here.

My third trip to Paris and I never get tired of visiting Notre Dame. It’s massive and gorgeous on the outside and inside. As you get closer to entering the cathedral, look up and see all of the intricate detail. I highly recommend climbing the...More

nil long lines, entrance in front, nil toilets inside, one has to go outside long waiting lines, you can exit and tell security youre going back in, €5 to go into treasury, not worth it, check mass times, €2 for audio guide, visit and enjoy!

I am a big fan of architecture, but not such a fan of the 'church'. That said, this is a beautiful building, loaded with history. I think you (should) visit for the history. Very popular and having seen the outside and grabbed the compulsory 'proof-of-visit'...More

I won't give much added value. All has been said about it. My personal opinion is that the north and south rose stainglass are the most beautiful works of art by humans. There is usually a queue to enter. Security. And u won't be able...More

I am not a particularly religious person but I found this a most moving experience. It is so breathtakingly beautiful inside that you can't help feeling awestruck and somewhat closer to God!!

Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very
heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité,
sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of
Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the
site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held
before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic
Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the
Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island,

The inside is on ground level there’s maybe just one step you’ll have to get over and it’s very spacious. I don’t think you’ll be able to visit the tower with a stroller though.
