Purchasing tickets online proved to be a good option as we could skip the ticket lines when we arrived. Outside of the Louvre there were queuing barriers, which were empty when we arrived so we managed to go straight through security. The museum itself is...More

We visited on a Saturday and it may have been luck that we got there early (not before opening, just slightly after) and there was no line (although we had a Paris Pass anyway)..this also meant less crowds! Do your research though because there are...More

How to be in Paris and not to visit the Louvre museum ? Of course Monalisa is a must to see, but the Louvre is so big that I would suggest to set some target, otherwise you will need an entire day or more to...More

Under 18's go free so it's okay to go on multiple days. It is extremely big so you cannot finish it in one day. If you do not like to look at history and statues do not go as you will be extremely bored.

This was amazing to see the paint of Leonardo Da Vinci’s “Mona Lisa”The museum is gigantic, so it’s essential to make sure you have enough time to see everything you want.

I was there in September, I can only say that you should have your ticket online before you go. Especially monalisa is so crowded:) people were pushing each other for her lol

Simply had no idea about the size of this place. My visit was mainly to view Mona Lisa and this proved to be the highlight of my visit. There is an absolute vast range of art on view with something to appeal to everyone’s taste....More

We booked a specific time to enter the Louvre. Do it if possible - The line for those that did not book was a round the corner - IN THE RAIN!

You haven't visited Paris unless you've visited the Louvre. Easy to find and park.Little cafes upstairs are efficiently run and reasonably priced. The photo shows the Mona Lisa. People crowd around and volley for positions for selfies. Good spot to "people watch".

First of all you need to know what do you want from this visit to the Louvre. If you want to see just the most popular pieces, you don't need a guide, a map will do it. If they are going to give you what you expect from the... More

I definitely did not have to pay. No one paid to use the bathrooms when I visited. If something changed since October then that’s a shame. The bathrooms were clean and the lines moved quickly. I used the family bathroom... More
