Well worth a visit but needs a full day or longer to really appreciate the art. If you go on Wednesday it is open until 9.45pm so you get more time for your €15. I know the Mona Lisa gets the most attention but there...More
It was my second visit to museum and I still did not manage to see everything. Get an audio guide and enjoy the nice stories while navigating. Amazing. If you bought the tickets online, try to enter the museum from the shopping mall on another...More
This underground pyramid museum is a must see! So much history in every floor. I didn’t know Beyoncé and JayZ reserved the whole place just to their music video. When I saw it I said omg I was there and there and there! So much...More
I love the louvre! But it‘s always crowdy and you have to be aware of pickpockers!
And in my opinion it‘s a little bit confusing inside because it‘s so big. But there are a lot of beautiful paintings and statuaty.
You could easily spend a whole day here. The Mona Lisa is in a room full of people trying to take a picture of it. Unfortunately, we were unable to view it up close and see the beauty of the painting, so don’t get your...More
I can't repeat this enough, SLOW DOWN! If you really have to go see the Mona Lisa if you must but after that, take you time and look in the back hall and tucked away rooms. Thats where the magic is at.
Huge museum with a bit of every culture from all over the world 🌍
Best section is the Greek one !!
Also the French paintings were great !
It is very big and if you want to see everything you need the less 4 hours!...More
I cannot come to Paris without spending time in the Louvre. This was my 3rd trip to the Louvre and we decided to spend our time the 2 of its 3 wings (Denon and Sully). It’s always a special treat to stand before the Mona...More
From the majestic Louvre to the regal Palais-Royal, this neighbourhood oozes luxury. The grand arches along Rue de Rivoli are shadowed by mosaics in front of decorated vitrines and hotels. Place Vendôme is lined with the world’s best jewelers and their glittering window displays. Every other establishment has someone to open the door for you or park your car. You can spend hours gazing at its haute couture shops
or lingering over a meal at any of its chic eateries. After all that indulgence, the Tuileries gardens provide stately respite, while theatres compete for your applause. It's a neighbourhood that draws admirers from around the world, all attracted to the luxe life in Paris.

I am sorry but I do not participate in guided tours. The museum provides a nice map and, although immense, is easily navigated. With more there to see in any one visit I’d suggest that you pick 10-12 “must see” pieces and focus on those. You will see hundreds of other amazing things as you work your way around to your picks. Also, the audio guides are really good. I personally like to read about the sites I attend in advance and I create my own guided tour. I’m sure some of the tours are quite good but I prefer to be on my own schedule and timeline. One suggestion, get the Paris Museum Pass. It allows you to skip the ticket line and allows multiple entrances during the duration of your pass. I use the Paris Museum Pass every time I go to Paris and I have never regretted it. Happy travels!
Highly suggest doing a treasure hunt. We did one with a group of 8 and it was a huge hit. Took about 3 hours but we saw things we otherwise wouldn’t and they included all the classics in there as well with lots of good... More
Highly suggest doing a treasure hunt. We did one with a group of 8 and it was a huge hit. Took about 3 hours but we saw things we otherwise wouldn’t and they included all the classics in there as well with lots of good information. It was called THATLou.
