During our latest visit to Paris a few weeks ago, we went to this museum to see the Mary Cassatt show, which was marvelous. This is a wonderful little museum, definitely worth a visit--along with lunch at the lovely Museum Cafe!

Having visited the museum previously, we returned for the special Mary Cassatt exhibition which was of great quality and well laid out to allow you to navigate the rooms and get a good view of the paintings.

We really enjoyed this museum. The audio guide is a must. It really enhances the experience. Not only do you see fabulous art bought all over the world, but it gives you insight to the lives of the collecting couple. We spent a couple of...More

Went to see the Mary Cassatt exhibition. The paintings were beautiful and I loved that Mary was a feminist and told the story of femininity, motherhood, parenthood, family, etc in such beautiful pieces. The English audio sets made it easy to follow stories behind each...More

A lovely museum in a mansion near Parc Monceau, with a permanent collection, a temporary exhibition on Mary Cassatt, and a lovely lunch/tea room.

A rather eclectic collection of 17-18th c French, Dutch, and Italian art (Boucher, Tiepolo, Van Dyke, Watteau, Chardin, etc.), but good stuff, in a very handsome town house (mansion, in fact). Definitely worth an couple of hours if you are strolling the classy boulevards of...More

Visiting the Musee Jacquemart-Andre was actually two experiences: one was the mansion in which the museum is located, and second was the Mary Cassett retrospective currently taking place there. The mansion is large, beautifully decorated, appointed and furnished...and still somehow feels to be a comfortable,...More
