While show was good, the service is just horrible. Show added one star to the otherwise negative score. After almost an hour in line we ended up having two seats in the corner both seating with our backs to the scene. No room whatsoever to get any space and turn around. People who were after us in line got two... More

Even with all the hype around Moulin Rouge, it doesn't disappoint. Unlike some other attractions, this is quite an expense, weighing in around £170/$200 its not cheap but the experience is something else. We've been to other shows around the world somewhat similar but nothing tops the original. We had the pre-meal dinner and show too which was good and... More

If this is not on you bucket list yet, add it straight away. An expensive experience but oh my God, so worth it. We went for the cheapest menu option to suit my wife's taste as she cannot eat seafood but were not disappointed with the quality and superb presentation. Arrive early to be seated towards the front as location... More

Unless you fancy watching topless women performing mediocre dancing in a so called play with a very lousy story, don't bother. And the food! Oh my God how bad! You're in Paris, eat anywhere else.

The costumes are simple amazing and that's the reason we went. Seating was absolutely horrible, extremely tight and a majority didn't even face the stage. Can't imagine if a fire broke out.

the show was amazing, really entertaining.. they don't let u take pictures or record but that is so they can keep the magic that is moulin rouge especially in this day and age were technology is everywhere ... there is no magic because people have taken it away, tickets can be expensive.. if u want cheaper 1's go earlier in... I probably should have done some research before going so that I wasnt as surprised by the lack of clothing the performers were wearing, but once we got over that we enjoyed the circus like antics and extravaganza. We went for dinner first, which was very elegant. A photographer was available to take a picture at the table, which was... More

Moulin rouge !! What can I say ... we were packed in like sardines , had to get up every time someone from another table wanted to use the bathroom ... champagne was dreadful and drinks were expensive .... but the show was fun , a bit cheesy , the cancan routine was great !! Definitely once in a lifetime... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
