The Seine is the Seine - one must simply experience it on a boat at least once in their life! It's nice to view both sides of the river and get a sense of where things are in the city, too.

We have been to Paris twice so far, and each time we have taken a boat ride on the river Seine. It is a must-do at least once. It is a beautiful and different way to see the city, and you really do get to take in many of the major sights. On our first trip, we happen to take... More

I enjoyed seeing Paris' historical sights from the river on the sightseeing cruise. Learning the history of all the bridges was interesting. It also gave us a nice break after walking all day lol

Enjoyed our stroll along the river Seine, getting a view of sights and visits to some. Ice cream in hand, seated on the quay itself watching life float by.

You get to see beautiful architecture and learn history. If it is not raining and want to take some pictures you will have to be out on deck. but then you will miss the recorded commentary.

I rowed in the Traversee de Paris. Seeing the city from the river is by far the best way to pack Paris into one, short, fantastic trip. I was only in Paris for two days, but I have incredible photos. I saw Notre Dame, the Louvre, and other landmarks from the river. The Eiffel Tower from the river is particularly... More
