If you thought there was only one of these your wrong! Enlightening the World, commonly known as the Statue of Liberty, 22 metres tall and facing west in the direction of its larger sibling in New York City. Inaugurated by President Marie François Sadi Carnot on 4 July 1889,[3] nearly three years after its US counterpart, it was given to... More

An interesting smaller version of the original gift from France to the United States. It is a pity that it is down the Seine River from the Eiffel Tower. Good to see if you have the time and it is visible from the top of the Eiffel Tower

A lousy attempt to mimic the success of the one in New York. If only other interesting things were close to it...

Interesting reproduction of the NY Liberty given to the US by the French. This one, on the Seine with the Eiffel Tower in the background, was a return gift to the Parisians by the US. And that sign of friendship makes it an interesting site on the river walk away from the Eiffel.

You think of New York, you think of the Statue of Liberty, it is an icon of New York and there are many different ways you can see it. You could take a helicopter ride, sail past it on a boat or simply catch one of the many ferries going that way, that’s what we did and we spent a... More

Copy of it's most famous sister from New York, stands at the end of small island bounded by river Saine. Surprisingly few tourists comes here, which is a shame.

If you are walking along the river or the man-made island park, it's worth a stroll to this small statue. Although it is same design as the statue of liberty in new york, the size is vastly smaller.

A mini statue compared to the Big statue in New -York, it was nice seeing the smaller version. This statue is a gift by U.S citizens living in Paris, to Citizens of Paris to celebrate the French Revolution. Worth a visit if you have the time.
