The ultimate french cheese shop, the historic Androuet fromagerie has been sourcing and maturing exceptional cheeses since 1909. Although now owned by big money, the shop is still very, very good. The service is very knowledgeable, and you'll find some special cheeses here that you won't find elsewhere.

We stayed in a flat on Rue Claude Bernard which is just a block fro Rue Moufftard. This cheese shop was a daily haunt on our way home each night from sightseeing. The staff speak English, are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They were spot-on in their recommendations and we were able to enjoy a variety of delicious cheese to match... More

This is a review for the Androuet cheese shop at 37 Rue de Verneuil, 75007 Paris, France. Great selection, great service. We came here on our Paris by Mouth food tour and got some cheese knowledge dropped on us. Where it's from, how it's aged, how to bring home to U.S. They vacuum seal any cheese you want to take... Amazing selection on cheeses and very helpful staff! You will not not be disappointed! They also have another location on 134, Rue Mouffetard. This is a great street for authentic Parisian food shopping.

Had a great shopping experience at Androuet. Staff spoke fluent English and were very helpful. Lots of cheeses from which to choose, and the staff can help direct you if you tell them what you like.

There were a ton of cheese options and all four we got were great. Our favorites were some type of Brie (with chestnut or hazelnut in it?) and Comte. The workers were also very helpful, both knowledgable and kind.

Androuet is a cheese shop that has been in business for over 100 years. The selection of cheeses from the youngest chevere to the richest triple creme is impressive. Stop there if you love cheese.

I found out about this cheese shop through TripAdvisor. When we were in Paris we stopped by and bought several kinds of cheeses. The salesperson talks English well so we had no problem asking information and his advice on vast variety of cheeses. The French lady in the shop who was also a customer told us that we were in...
