Many places in France show off a specific style of cutting the trees' crowns to shape a tunnel above the streets or alleys. Jardin du Palais Royal are a perfect example. Great groungs, well maintained, safe and welcoming.

A small park with great building Around. Easily missed, and in Paris can be missed. But it has plenty of room for kids to run around.

you feel like royalty yourself whne you stroll through this immaculate parc. There is the beauty of the Castle, the architecture of the garden, the ponds, the music pavillions, the sculptures, the poney rides, the expositions and the people. A must to see in Paris.Many...More

Located just behind Comedie Francaise the part it's a quiet, green oasis few minutes from the Seine. Tall trees, few benches, locals with kids playing and surrounding buildings make this little gem a welcome repas for the tired visitor of this wonderful city.

Found it while walking around the center of Paris. Quite a beautiful garden with many well-preserved rose bushes and tall trimmed trees that provided a very welcome shadow in the middle of a hot summer day. Not similar to Luxembourg gardens but relaxing in its...More

It was nice to stroll through the neat rows of trees admiring the gardens. We did contemplate stopping for lunch but the restaurants are a little up-market and expensive for what we were looking for.

The Palais Royal Gardens feel more intimate and private than the larger Tuileries Gardens nearby. After a day of visiting museums and shopping, the peaceful Jardin du Palais Royal is a wonderful spot to rest. Then after some minutes one feel recharged and on the...More

Paris balances the rush of a large city with numerous gardens and parks, with Jardin du Palais Royal being one of the best-hidden ones. While we did not find the gardens to be a stand-out, the balance of "old" (the Palais Royal itself) with the...More

Louvre / Palais-Royal
From the majestic Louvre to the regal Palais-Royal,
this neighbourhood oozes luxury. The grand arches
along Rue de Rivoli are shadowed by mosaics in front
of decorated vitrines and hotels. Place Vendôme is
lined with the world’s best jewelers and their
glittering window displays. Every other establishment
has someone to open the door for you or park your car.
You can spend hours gazing at its haute couture shops
