The place could be a good jazz club. But they have decided on quantity instead of quality. 1/4 square meter per person, a bad air conditioning, people are put there as if they were amazon packets.

I love this little jazz club. It has two venues one upstairs and one down and so there is nearly always some one playing whose style interests me. You really get the feel that the place is dedicated to jazz rather than money making. Monday...More

I have been to Sunset a countless number of times, the quality of lineup makes me always come back. I have been both in the evenings, as well as on Sunday for the special kids jazz program which I can recommend very highly to parents...More

20 euros only for the entrance and 10 euros for a draft beer. Apart from that the place was really tide, but the music was good, also the area its self is very *alive*

We arrived for a late set after dinner nearby. Despite being jam-packed, the people in the audience listened attentively and appreciatively to the musicians. It was a local trio, and they were great. We only heard one set and then everyone left. Early, we thought,...More

Unfortunately the night I was there the Jazz club was packed and the air conditioning was not on! No air flow - I felt sorry for the musicians under the lights. We did not stay for the full concert as it was uncomfortable.

Went here based on TripAdvisor. Thought it would be free entrance but it was €20, prob due to Saturday or part of jazz festival. Great singer made it worth the fee. The place was very small though and not really a “lounge” feeling.

The enthusiastic young staff practically drag you in off the street. Their big draw is no cover and a one-drink minimum. As a result, they get a big crowd of dedicated fans in a room with all the comfort and ambiance of a high-school multi-purpose...More

Monday August 6th. Billed as Bill Evans tribute. But really just insipid tunes Evans never played but in his style...sort of. Bass player trying to play "Danny Boy" obviously doesn't even know the tune. Plus has no power or control. Drummer is more interested in...More

No. At the Sunset and Sunside it is first come/best placed. There are no reservations but at least you queue inside - that is to say in the glass enclosed terrace and it usually works well.

It would be perfectly safe, but I don't know the liquor laws in France! It is not a bar atmosphere; the jazz room is behind the bar. Here is what I found on the web; I think if they are accompanied, it is fine. Are... More
