I have absolutely no words to describe how phenomenal this exhibit was. Imagine yourself being completely surrounded by Dior's creations over the decades. There must be hundred - if not thousands of pieces on display in what is an enormous exhibtion; occupying dozens of spaces...More

We travelled from London specifically to see the Dior exhibition. It was truly outstanding. So beautiful it made me feel quite emotional. Beautifully displayed, stunning displays and dresses to bring you to tears. A masterclass by Dior. Do not miss!

We read about extremely long queues for the Dior exhibition, so we arrived at 9.40. The museum opens at 11. We didn't have tickets because they'd been sold out online. There were already some people in the queue to buy tickets. Eventually another queue for...More

The Musee des Arts Decoratifs is to be found on the Rue de Rivoli almost as an extension of the Musee du Louvre. The entrance is not especially big and easily missed. Once inside the Museum, there is an entrance hall where groups and friends...More

This is one of the most amazing exhibits I have ever seen. You can't possibly do the rest of the museum after this. You will be totally overloaded. Any adjective expressing wonder will be inadequate. You absolutely have to book online first and in plenty...More

If you’re in Paris don’t miss it! Fashion meets arts and change how we experience beauty. The setting is magnificent and you don’t have to like fashion or art: just enjoy the beauty! One caveat: buy the tickets in advance and you’ll wait in line...More

The Dior Exhibit debuted July 5, 2017 and will continue until January 8, 2018. We visited in late November and the line to enter the exhibit, without a reservation can be two hours long. Even with a reservation, it can take an hour, but it...More

The exhibition "Constance Guisset Design , Actio!" held in the "Musée des Arts Décoratifs " , Rue de Rivoli in Paris is indeed very interesting and room is entitled by a verb denoting action and evoking the life, uses and intentions of her objects and...More

I decided not to write negative reviews a while back because I don't believe in bad karma - except when criticism is strongly needed, and the current Dior Exhibit takes the cake for needing a good talking to - or about. There is no doubt...More

I visited the museum's permanent collection here and found that easier to focus on than the blockbuster Dior exhibition. The curators of the temporary "Christian Dior, Couturier du Reve" seemed to lack the ability for selective inclusion. Granted, it would not have been easy to...More

Louvre / Palais-Royal
From the majestic Louvre to the regal Palais-Royal,
this neighbourhood oozes luxury. The grand arches
along Rue de Rivoli are shadowed by mosaics in front
of decorated vitrines and hotels. Place Vendôme is
lined with the world’s best jewelers and their
glittering window displays. Every other establishment
has someone to open the door for you or park your car.
You can spend hours gazing at its haute couture shops

You can get on the day but queues are very long and if pre-purchase you get to skip the line.
