Visited this church recently while in the 6th. Very nice church, but still undergoing a lot of restoration to the paintings. Feel this one may have been damaged during WWII. Still we really like visiting churches and worth the time to visit

Worth the visit for the interior, and contemplation. Church organ was impressive and size was grand enough.

We stopped by here on the way to the Luxembourg Gardens. What a wonderful church! Unfortunately, it appears that it is in need of repair. But that did not detract from the beautify of the architecture and the experience. You must see the Virgin Mary...More

St. Sulpice boasts sanctuary space that's larger than Notre Dame! There's a Delacroix to look at, the pulpit is elevated and fabulous, and visitors are welcome to sit and rest and reflect. Don't miss the obelisk known as the "gnomon", and the copper bar on...More

This is not my favorite church in Paris because it's so dark and the architecture is on unharmonious. But the big Delacroix inside is worth a look. The neighborhood is super-spiffy.

In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic
and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is
dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops,
ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants.
Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine
art school and small museums hide in unassuming
squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the
oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented
