If you are in Paris, you shouldn't miss this place. This place is right across river from Eiffel Tower. It has spectacular view of Eiffel. I have been to Paris many times but never got a chance to visit this place. I visited it today and can't explain how mind blowing it was. Try and visit it in night so... More

March 2017: The fountains and pools are empty. Most like because of winter and or maintenance. One half of the stair case below the plaza is under reconstruction/renovation but you can still walk down to the Eiffel Tower. Great view and picture spot of Eiffel Tower at night time too. Plenty of tourist day and evening. Street vendor selling souvenirs... More

From here one can see unobstructed views of the Eiffel Tower. A perfect spot to take a photograph. That being said there are a number of people here trying to sell you key chains, beer and other stuff and this can get quite annoying

Been here on 24th March 2017. This is the highest point opposite Seine river and iconic Eiffel Tower. You have all the wonderful view from top of Trocadero. The view is magnificent. Those beautiful pictures shot from here are insanely beautiful and picture perfect. Also there is lots of golden sculpture too. Paris is always Paris as beautiful, magnificent and... More

Good place to photo shoot Eiffel Tower and eat food. Lots of cafes to eat or just sit Around to relax with drinks.

Easy to reach from Metro and great location to view the tower. It is within 15min walk to the tower itself. To avoid the tourist crowd, arrive at this location around sundown and enjoy the view when the tower light is turned on.

Trocadero is a nice area with several sculptures in the area. If you are seeking a nice photo of Eiffel, then this is the place for a nice shot of the tower.

As any other Paris attraction, Trocadero was beautiful. On the sides of it there were big sculptures. But the best thing it is known for it the Eiffel Tower view. It was truly beautiful.

Trocadero is the ideal place to take a picture of Eiffel Tower. Due to its geography, it is a prime location to look to Eiffel Tower.

Super place to see the Eiffel Tower, but it can get very busy. There are too many people trying to sell you junk and rubbish. It is free to come here.

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
