This area around Les Invalides is great and usually quiet but is being spoiled by groups of men trying to sell tat. Unfortunately getting off a coach is becoming rather troublesome as they swarm towards the doors as they open.

During our visits to Paris we love to just stroll the streets and take it all in. Faubourg Saint Germain is famed for being the home of the French nobility. To this day one of the most exclusive districts of this wonderful city. For us well worth a visit.

We stayed in Grand Hotel Leveque in Rue Cler as we love Faubourg Saint-Germain and have stayed here many times. It has every thing , attractions, great architecture, shops and cafes. Although we have been many times we always find some thing new.

Faubourg Saint-Germain is the eastern part of the 7th arrondissement. It is a quiet neighborhood that contains The Hotel Des Invalides with its Musee D' Armee and Napoleon's tomb plus the nearby Musee Rodin. Well worth a visit.

This is a lovely elegant area of Paris and if I could afford to live in Paris I would love an apartment in this area, the architecture is wonderful. Visit 33 Rue de Champs de Mars and you will see what I mean.

The Hotel Des Invalides with its Musee D' Armee and Napoleon's tomb plus the nearby Musee Rodin is in this fairly quiet and safe neighborhood. We ate a quick lunch with food gotten from Rue CLer in one of the street benches around here and we felt safe.
