THATLou runs themed Treasure Hunts at the Louvre (what it stands for) & is part of THATMuse (other museums: Musee d’Orsay, British Museum & the Streets of Paris, THATRue). Our themed hunts give you an overview, whilst keeping you focused & injecting fun in your museum visit. Both educational & adrenalin-pumping, our goal is to make you want to see more of the museum after the hunt. No knowledge of art prior is necessary

I was keen to visit the Louvre with two of my sons (aged 11 & 9) but wanted to try and do it a different way than just trudging from room to room. I found THATLou and the booking process was easy for the Skull Scouting hunt. I was very glad that we picked the early time slot (9.15am) to... More

We had great time, parents and teens... besides the game itself we got to see many parts of the museum that otherwise would've been neglected. Great experience!

My husband and I visited Paris last week (April 2017), and our scavenger hunt with THATLou was a major highlight! I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who wants to visit the Louvre! The scavenger hunt portion was about 1.5 hours for us since we met up with another team. However, this piqued our interest in the museum so... More

We did this with our 5 and 8 year olds, who would have begun complaining from the second we walked in if we weren't participating in this program. Can help you quickly orient and focus on the high points; the one drawback is that you may not spend as much time as you should smelling the roses and savoring some... More

This was a great activity to do with kids. I was traveling with 10 year old girls and needed something fun and educational. I heard the Louvre is massive and hard to get through so this turned to be the best way to see a lot, fun and educational. The team was great gave us tips ahead to prepare. We... More

A very belated review of our THATLou Hunt this past November. Meant to do as soon as we got home and didn't, but don't want to let more time go by without thanking Daisy and Annie for what was undoubtedly a highlight of our long weekend in Paris. Like so many others who've reviewed THATLou, I have at least one... More

Doing this scavenger hunt was such an incredible way to experience the Louvre! The maps and instructions were really well-designed and clear, and the information about the pieces you're trying to find was in-depth and just really interesting. The scavenger hunt involved a lot of different sections of the museum, so it had you go into areas you might not... More

We booked THATLou on a recommendation from a friend. We owe them. Firstly, with THATLou you get to "jump the queue" which at our quiet time of the year, a cold January morning had a 2 hour wait.....and that was first thing, at opening, and the wait apparently gets longer. Once you get started you get to look around the... More

As a group of 8 ranging from 70yo to 9yo (and throw in a couple of teenagers in between), we had the most amazing time exploring the Louvre with this wonderful treasure hunt from That Lou! This activity is designed to engage you with the treasures of the Louvre (beyond the Mona Lisa). We spent two hours in 4 teams... More

Our THAT Lou treasure hunt at the Louvre on a previous trip was such a success that we decided to try the THAT D'Or treasure hunt this time. I'm pleased to report that it was just as much fun - we all had a great time. The size of the Musee D'Orsay meant that our experience was quite different to... More
