Of course , it's beautiful in daytime . But, in the night it has other face. It has status and is of dignified appearance. I like night face

Located in rue Les Cases, in a small and pretty square in the 7ème arrondissement in Paris, this big basilica was completed in 1857. It is 96 m long, 39 m wide with 20 m high vaults. It has interesting stainless done in the 19th century.

I popped in on my walk back from Hotel des Invalides on my way to my hotel near Musee d'Orsay. Very beautiful inside and I was the only one there on a Tuesday afternoon. Its imposing twin towers can be seen from across the Seine. A group of small boys were playing soccer in front of the church between it... More

I would not call this a hidden church. It can be seen from many parts of Paris, on a hill at Monmarte. I have mobility issues so we decided to go on the metro to Anvers then we had to wander slowly up the shop lined street to the base of the gardens in front of the church. There are... More

The history of the Basilica of Ste-Clotilde began on February 16, 1827. However, construction did not get underway until two decades. Ste-Clotilde was consecrated on November 30, 1857, after 12 years of construction. It lies in St-Germain-des-Près quarter, the closest metro station is Solferino (line 12). The church has a small yet beautiful garden in front of. You can also... More

Very beautiful and no other tourists at all. It fooled me too - this is a late 1800's church (seemed to me very old at first). It's still worth it if you are near by.
