Beautifully-designed park with a pretty lake and lots of flowers. Popular with Parisians, but tourists seldom find it. Slightly marred by the suburban railroad that runs through the middle. Check out the short residential streets on the west side of the park, lovely. And the strange architecture of Cite Universitaire to the south.

Located close to cite universitaire this park is a perfect spot for a relaxation. It may not be as famous and beautiful as other parks around the city, but it's more down to earth.

This is one of the most loved park in Paris by locals. It's remote, have not tourists and offers quite interesting style of park with a big lake. Good place to spend a summer day having a picnic or just relaxing.

If you wanna be close to nature, even being in a big city like Paris, this is a nice option. There are trees, a cool lake, some charming bridges. It seemed to be interesting for couples too.

This parc offers wonderful running tracks, and is a great place to get away for a while. Great parc and easy to get to. Everyone should visit this parc off the tourist beaten track...

If you have been roaming in the city the whole day and miss a spot in the nature to relax, go to this parc. It's nice with a lac and some animals. The parc is big so you can even have a picnic with your friends/ family or just have a nap by yourself.

Large area, similar to Parc Monceau, but much more meandering. The lake is practically green due to the mossy underlayer and also because of the surrounding trees. It is not a quiet place, and full of life and children and joggers, much like a mini Bois de Bologne. The Village Peupliers, a stone's throw form the Parc is a must... More

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
