Actually an artificial strip of land measuring 36 feet at its widest point, created in 1827 to protect the Pont de Grenelle. Besides giving that point of support to the Grenelle bridge, it's claim of fame is that it houses a quarter scale replica of...More

Unfortunately, this park is not well maintained , unlike EVERY other park in the city. Grass and weeds need care before summer. Amd the pavement steps are in dire need of repair or replacement. Sad to say so.

We decided to take this stroll within the River Seine, towards the lady, and we were not dissapointed. First of all, it was a totally parisien experience, since no tourists accompanied us, but many locals were there for jogging or with their dogs. It took...More

This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive
Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National
museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill
the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher,
florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury
and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most
famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings
are small art galleries and homes of historical
