As a group of 4, we receive few hours of deep and exciting culinary expedition into the world of professional food making, specifically the sweets, breads, cheese, public market scenery and the world of chocolate production. Despite the weather we enjoyed every moment . Highly recommended .

Well, you don't need to wait. Set a date to be exposed to an interesting part of the culture of gastronomy in Paris. It's realy intersting, delicious and brings you to the small places, untouched and inspired.

We were a family of 4 who took a Saturday morning tour with Gali around the Boulevard Saint-Germain area of Paris in late January 2018. It started with a (rather long) introduction of herself and how she ended up giving such tours in Paris. It continued with an explanation of the impressively professional approach that the French culture takes towards food in general, and the specialization of each type of food-related preparation and service. We got an overview of the how the unique food-Market system works in Paris, and got to taste quite a few types of basic ingredients at one of the market stalls. We got to try quite a number of samples at a boulangerie, patisserie, fromagerie, and a chocolatier. We got to appreciate the amount of effort, experience, knowledge, tradition, and even artistic qualities that goes into the process of preparing these different types of foods. Gali is most passionate about the food system and it is easy to get carried away in her clear enthusiasm of these professions. Highly recommended to food lovers.

I've been following Sharon's blog ( ParisChezSharon ) for a long time, and have been dreaming about taking her tour some time in the future. When the opportunity presented itself, and I was planning a long weekend vacation in Paris with my daughter, the first thing I did, before booking flights, hotel, anything, I contacted Sharon and secured a date for a tour. The tour was an amazing experience. Sharon was punctual, was already waiting for us at the meeting location a few minutes before the designated hour, which I highly appreciated. For a start, she brought us chocolate balls that she made at home, so we had our mouths full, while she introduced herself and told us how she got to where she is and what she does today. She definitely has a fascinating life story. Then, we began the tour, at the market, went on to fromagerie, chocolaterie, patisserie, tasted a lot of great stuff, especially cakes, and heard interesting stories and explanations about culinary aspects of the French way of life. Sharon is full of knowledge and stories, she's extremely friendly and attentive, and by the end of the 4 hours tour we felt that we've become friends. The tour is highly recommended, for anyone who likes to eat, appreciates high quality food and sweets, and is interested in learning and expanding their knowledge about French culinary.
